It
was especially bright even for a summer day.
On 19th June 2008, it was another gathering time
for Ecademists, invited to the Tower Hotel London.
Perched beside the Thames and sandwiched by the
famed Tower of London and city offices, the hotel
venue hosted hundreds of members and their guests.
Our
Editor/Publisher, Yemi Ogunshola also attended,
mingling with the jovial guests to queue, to register,
accept a cool drink of Pimms, and practically
waltz across the spacious reception - all before
a theme talk by South African-born Brent Hoberman,
co-founder of the 2 billion-dollar-worth 'lastminute.com'.
Brent shared personal experiences, all after a
short speech by Penny Power.
In
all, it was a charming night. |
